Three more doctors die due to COVID-19 in 24 horus

KARACHI:Three more doctors including Ex-Director General Health of Sindh embraced martyrdom due to Coronavirus (COVID-19), in Karachi city in last 24 hours.

Ex-Director General Health Sindh Dr Abdul Sattar Korai embraced martyrdom due to Coronavirus. He was ENT Specialist while, Former Chief Anesthetist of Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre (JPMC ), Dr Tahir Ameen Choudhry passed away due to Coronavirus last night.

Similarly, Dr Waseemuddin was also passed away owing to COVID-19 and he was Pediatrician. He also life member of Pakistan Pediatric Association(PPA). Nowadays he was privately practicing Shah Faisal Colony Karachi.

He remained admitted with COVID at ICU of private hospital for about a month but unfortunately disease overcame to all measures.

In Pakistan, a total 164 healthcare workers have lost their lives in war against coronavirus throughout the country till 11 December out of which 138 were doctors and 26 were others.

At least 51 healthcare workers had died due to the Coronavirus(COVID-19) across the Sindh province so far out of which 44 were doctors and seven were other medical staff so far. Eleven doctors had embraced martyrdom during second wave of Coronavirus in the province .
