KARACHI:Three people, including a woman and her little boy, died in train-related incidents in Karachi and Lahore on Monday.

A woman and her little boy fell into deep water while trying to avoid a fast-moving train at Mai Kolachi crossing in Karachi. The Rescue officials succeeded in retrieving the body of the seven-year-old Yousuf while search for his mother was still under way.

In the second incident, a 21-year-old young man was crushed by a train in Kahna near Lahore. The deceased, identified as Zahid Iqbal, was trying to cross the railway track when caught up by the train. The police have taken the dead body into their custody.
