Top meeting held to review Mach tragedy

QUETTA:A meeting to review tragedy of Mach and overall law and order situation of the province was held with Prime Minister Imran Khan in the chair on Saturday.

The meeting was attended by Governor Balochistan, Justice (Retd) Amanullah Khan Yasinzai, Chief Minister Balochistan, Jam Kamal Khan, Federal Ministers Sheikh Rasheed Ahmed, Syed Ali Zaidi, Ali Amin Gandapur, Advisor to Prime Minister, Syed Zulfiqar Abbas Bukhari, Deputy Speaker National Assembly Qasim Khan Suri, Commander Southern Command Lt General Sarfraz Ali,Minister for Home and Tribal Affairs Mir Zia Langove, Chief Secretary Balochistan, Captain (Retd) Fazeel Asghar, Inspector General of Police Balochistan, Muhsin Hassan Butt and other civil and military authorities.

Meanwhile, former Minister and leader of Wahdat-e-Muslimeen Agha Raza has said that Prime Minister, Imran Khan had assured that all the demands of protesters would be entertained. Talking to media here on Saturday after meeting with Prime Minister Imran Khan, Agha Raza said that 25 lac rupees had been paid to each heir of martyrs. “We recorded our protest with regard to the word “Blackmailing” upon which Prime Minister Imran Khan said that he had used the word “blackmailing” for the leaders of Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM)”,said Agha Raza.
