KARACHI:A trader was shot dead while resisting armed suspects in Bhens Colony within the precincts of Sukhan police station of the city on Saturday.
According to police, a gang of armed men robbers stopped trader Gul Bahar, 45, at gunpoint and tried to loot him in Bhens Colony area of the city, but he offered them resistance during the robbery following which they shot him dead.
The body was shifted to the Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre for an autopsy. Further investigation was underway, the police said. No arrest could be made till filing this report, however, the police were searching for the culprits.
