Tral shuts on second straight day to mourn killings

Srinagar, March 06, 2019 (PPI-OT): In occupied Kashmir, complete shutdown is being observed for the second consecutive day, today, in Tral area of South Kashmir’s Pulwama district against the killing of two youth by Indian troops. All shops and business establishments are closed in the area while public transport is off the road.

Two youth Irfan Ahmad Rather and Adfar Fayaz, both residents of Tral, were martyred by Indian troops during a cordon and search operation at Mir Mohalla in the town. A two-storey residential house was also blasted by the troops during the operation. People from different areas continue to visit the houses of the martyred youth to offer condolences. Meanwhile, Democratic Freedom Party, Muslim League and Islami Tanzeem Azadi in their separate statements paid glowing tributes to the martyrs Ishfaq, Irfan and Adfar Fayaz.
