Karachi, December 08, 2019 (PPI-OT): Sindh Information Department on Sunday categorically denied the news about the differences between the Sindh government and Inspector General of Police, Sindh on any issue. According to Information Department the news that aired on electronic media yesterday quoting Inspector General of Police Sindh that he had stopped Senior Superintendent of Police Shikarpur from relinquishing the charge was absolutely baseless.
Information Department clarified that the transfer and posting of police officers was a routine matter. According to the Information Department SSP Jacobabad would take the charge of acting SSP Shikarpur till the appointment of news Senior Superintendent of Police in district Shikarpur.
