Transmission Sector has vital role in provision of safe reliable and sustainable electricity.
This was stated by International Experts while addressing fourth-day session of NEPRA Energy Week in Islamabad today (Thursday).
Experts from United Kingdom and Singapore discussed the details about optimizing the procurement of imported coal through competitive pricing mechanism.
They highlighted the issues and challenges faced by the transmission sector and stressed on resolving the issues including evacuation from renewable resources which affected the economy as a whole and end-consumers particularly.
In his concluding remarks Chairman NEPRA Tauseef H. Farooqi appreciated the innovative ideas and valuable recommendations shared by the experts.
