QUETTA:Tribal leader Ajab Khan Miankhail has strongly condemned bomb blast on the vehicle of Abdul Raziq Khan Achakzai, Chairman, Mazlum Ulusi Tehreek. He called on authorities to apprehend perpetrators involved in the attack.
Addressing a press conference at Quetta Press Club here on Tuesday, he said that Muzlum Ulusi Tehreek under the leadership of Sadiq Khan Achakzai was striving for the rights of people, adding that vivid example in that regard was the distribution of ration amongst thousands of families.
He called on authorities of law enforcement agencies, high-ups of provincial and district administrations to take drastic steps for maintaining law and order situation in Chaman and conduct an impartial inquiry into the bomb blast attack on Abdul Raziq Khan Achakzai.
Protest
A protest demonstration under the aegis of Pushtunkhwa Student Organization and Pushtun Student Federation was held outside Quetta Press Club on Tuesday against unjust distribution of medical seats of Bolan Medical College University.
The protest demonstration was addressed by Kabeer Afghan, Zonal Secretary, Pushtunkhwa Student Organization, Dr. Muzamil Khan Panezai, General Secretary, Pustunkhwa Student Organization, BMC unit, Dr. Mushsin, President, Pushtun Student Federation BMC unit, Dr. Shuhab Khan, Malik Akbar Khan, Dr. Ibrar Khan and others.
Condemning the unjust distribution of recently sanctioned posts of Bolan Medical College University, speakers said that developed countries were following merit while quota system was adhered to in Balochistan.
They said to bring real talent of the province, all seats meant for Bolan Medical University be reserved for quota. They called on Chief Justice Balochistan High Court to take notice of the issue.
