Troops martyr one Kashmiri youth in Kupwara

Srinagar, July 26, 2018 (PPI-OT): In occupied Kashmir, Indian troops in their fresh act of state terrorism martyred one more Kashmiri youth during a cordon and search operation in Sudal area of Kupwara district, today. The All Parties Hurriyat Conference Chairman, Syed Ali Gilani, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq, Muhammad Ashraf Sehrai, Zafar Akbar Butt, Farida Bahenji, Shabbir Ahmed Dar, Muhammad Iqbal Mir, Muhammad Ahsan Untoo, Imtiaz Ahmed Reshi and Ghulam Nabi War in their statements said that the Kashmiri youth were laying down their lives for a just cause and their sacrifices would not be allowed to go waste. They paid rich tributes to the two youth, Aadil Ahmed Butt and Bilal Ahmad Dar, who were martyred by the troops in Mehman Mohalla area of Islamabad town, yesterday.

Hurriyat leader, Mukhtar Ahmad Waza, along with a delegation visited Mehman Mohalla area and expressed solidarity with a freedom-lover, Nazir Ahmed Khan, whose house was destroyed by the troops during the operation, yesterday. Complete shutdown was observed in parts of Kulgam district and Islamabad town, today, against the killing of the two youth.

Meanwhile, senior APHC leader and the Chairman of Tehreek-e-Hurriyat Jammu and Kashmir, Muhammad Ashraf Sehrai, in a statement in Srinagar condemned the arrest of party leaders, Bashir Ahmed Qureshi, Ashiq Hussain Narchor and Aasif Ahmed Dada and harassment of their family members by Indian police during house raids in Srinagar and Islamabad town. Muslim Deeni Mahaz in a statement in Srinagar said that the authorities of Udhampur Jail in Jammu were denying medical facilities to its illegally detained President, Dr Muhammad Qasim Fakhtoo.
