LARKANA:Invitation extended to Maryam Nawaz Sharif, PML-Nawaz Vice President, by Ashfaque Abro, general secretary, High Court Bar Association, to address the bar is illegal and unconstitutional as it was sent without approval of the general body meeting. This was stated by Member, Managing Committee advocates Abdul Rauf Korai and Qadir Bux Bhatti while addressing newsmen at local press club Monday.
They said the invitation has been extended on bogus 400 signatures and most of the signatories are not even members of the bar. They said many signatures are of students. They said how can the invitation be extended to Maryam when her family has been talking against the state.
They said if Maryam Nawaz is allowed to address Bar then they will not only resist but will also protest. They said political dispute is already going on in the country adding PDM is also trying to hold a jalsa in Larkana.
They said several NAB cases are already pending against Nawaz Sharif and Maryam Nawan then on what account she has been invited to address the bar here. They said if she can be invited then Tego Khan Tegani should also be called to address the bar. They said they will never like to call Maryam for addressing the bar and hit the judicial system.
