Ranipur:Two people were killed in a road accident near Ranipur on Friday.
A fast-moving car hit a rickshaw on the National Highway at Malheerani bus stop near Hingorja. As a result, rickshaw driver Noor Mohammad died on the spot while two persons, including a woman, were injured.
The body and injured were rushed to a local hospital for medico-legal formalities and treatment, respectively, where the woman succumbed to her injuries. The police have impounded the car and started a probe into the incident. Case could not be filed till filing this report.
