SHIKARUR:Two people, including a woman, were killed and three others injured in an armed attack near Garhiyaseen on Sunday evening.
According to a report, a youth, Arsallan, 25, and a woman, Sitara Jaffery, were killed while Saddam, Muhammad Arif and Fidda Hussain, all by cast Jaffery, received serious bullet injuries when a group of armed men belonging to their enemy group of Tajlo Marfani attacked them with automatic weapons in village Dodo Detho near Garhiyaseen.
Police shifted the bodies and injured to RHC Garhiyaseen for medico-legal formalities and treatment, respectively. Later, the injured were referred to Larkana hospital due to their critical.
The cause behind the clash was said to be an ongoing dispute between the two groups of Jaffery tribe. No FIR was registered till filing of this story. The police have started a probe into the incident.
