MARDAN: Two policemen were shot dead in Pulodheri Shah Pul area of Mardan on Wednesday.
During duties with polio workers, two policemen identified as Syed Raza Ali Shah and Shakir Khan were shot by unidentified men in the area. As a result, they received severe injuries.
They were shifted to a local hospital where they were pronounced dead. When the police reached the spot, the accused managed to escape. The police have registered a case against the unidentified men and started an investigation.
