Two wanted members of a notorious bike-lifting gang were apprehended by the Shalimar police, who also recovered stolen motorcycles and cash from their possession, a public relations officer said.

The Shalimar team, using both technical and human resources, took into custody Arslan and Faisal Mushtaq.

Two stolen motorbikes and cash were seized, and cases had already been registered against the arrested individuals. Further investigation is underway.

SSP Operations Islamabad Muhammad Shoaib Khan directed officers to intensify the crackdown on those involved in criminal activities and to take all possible measures to protect citizens’ lives and property.

He added that no criminal element will be allowed to disrupt public peace, urging residents to report suspicious persons or activity via the ‘Pucar-15’ emergency helpline.
