Two youth booked under draconian PSA in IIOJK

Srinagar, July 13, 2021 (PPI-OT):In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the authorities have booked two persons under draconian law, Public Safety Act (PSA), in Ramban district of Jammu region, today. According to Kashmir Media Service, the authorities booked Tariq Ahmed Dar and Tanvir Ahmed Choudhury, both residents of Banihal, for their pro-freedom activities and lodged them at Kot Bhalwal jail in Jammu. Tariq Dar is a political activist while Tanvir Choudhury is a shopkeeper, officials said.

The superintendent of police, Ramban, submitted dossiers against them recommending cases for detention under the PSA, the officials said. The dossier also maintained that they were involved in supporting and implementing shutdown in Banihal area on the call given by Hurriyat leaders from the Kashmir Valley.
