Islamabad, September 25, 2021 (PPI-OT):The criminal silence adopted by the United Nations on the Indian state terrorism in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir is the main cause of the continued sufferings of the oppressed Kashmiris.
A report released by the Kashmir Media Service, today, said Pakistan Prime Minister, Imran Khan, in his address to the UN General Assembly has rightly stated that peace in South Asia is contingent upon the resolution of the Kashmir dispute in accordance with the UN Security Council resolutions and the Kashmiris’ aspirations.
The report maintained that more inaction on the part of the UN will further embolden India to suppress the Kashmiris. It said, the UN must come forward in a big way and play its role in resolving the Kashmir dispute to show to the world that it is not a toothless organization.
“It is time for the UN to stop remaining a silent spectator on what is happening in Kashmir. Now is the time for the UN to act and save the Kashmiris from Indian onslaught. Now is the time for the UN to implement its resolutions on Kashmir,” it added.
The report said fascist Indian Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, is attempting to obliterate the distinct Kashmiri identity by altering IIOJK’s demography. It said that the world community must prosecute Modi and Indian military for their crimes against humanity in IIOJK.
