Karachi, January 13, 2020 (PPI-OT): The Government of Sindh has upgraded the post of Computer Operators (BS-7/8), Computer Operator / Data Entry Operator and Computer operator (BS11/12), Data Processing Officer (BS-16) with immediate effect subject .to fulfilment of all required codal formalities as tabulated under:-

1 Computer Operator (BS-7/8) Intermediate (at least 2nd Division) plus 6 months’ Junior Computer Operator (BPS-12)
Training in MS Office with 40 wpm speed on Computer Typing
2 Computer Operator/ Graduation plus 6 months training in MS Office / Senior Computer Operator (BPS-16)
Data Entry Operator BCS Degree (at least 2nd Division) having three years’
(BS-11/12) experience or equivalent degree.
3 Computer Operator/ Graduation plus 6 months training in MS Office / Senior Data Processing Officer (BPS-17)
Data Processing Officer BCS Degree (at least 2nd Division) plus three years’
(BS-16) experience as Computer Operator / Data processing Officer (BS-16)
and in case of fresh appointment prescribed qualification
would be MCS/ MS (IT) / BE (Computer System/ Science)
etc. from HEC Recognised University.
In this regard the Finance Department has issued the necessary advice/ notification, here. The said up-gradation was made in pursuant to the approval accorded by Provincial Cabinet in its meeting vide minutes circulated by Services, General Administration and Coordination Department under letter dated 03-01-2020.
