Islamabad, August 04, 2022 (PPI-OT):The administration of the Capital Development Authority is taking vigorous steps to provide a healthy environment to the citizens of Islamabad. In this regard, on the special instructions of the CDA administration, the up gradation work of Uncle Sargam Park located in Sector F-11-2 of Islamabad has been completed by the concerned departments.
According to the details, the park was built to suit the famous character Uncle Sargam. Statues of characters from the Uncle Sargam series were also installed. However, the park was in a dilapidated condition and the statues installed were also damaged. On the special instructions of the Chairman Capital Development Authority, the work of providing other facilities including the renovation of this park was started which has now been completed.
In this regard, the statues of the famous characters of Uncle Sargam series have been upgraded and reinstalled so that the children visiting the park can enjoy themselves. The provision of other facilities including swings, walkways, jogging track for children to play in Uncle Sargam Park located in Sector F-11-2 of Islamabad has also been ensured.
Similarly, seasonal flowers of different colours have been planted in the park to keep the environment green and fresh so that the citizens who come to the park can enjoy the atmosphere to the fullest. Apart from this, benches for sitting in the park, proper lighting arrangements, security arrangements and other necessary arrangements have also been made. On this occasion, the administration of the Capital Development Authority says that providing a healthy environment to the citizens of Islamabad, especially children, is among the top priorities of the institution.
