LAHORE: Chief Minister Punjab Sardar Usman Buzdar on Wednesday directed to run an anti-dengue campaign across the province adding that the administration and the health department should take the necessary steps in this regard.
CM directed the commissioners and DCs to personally monitor the drive to ensure strict compliance on anti-dengue strategy. The concerned officials should ensure their availability in the field; he added and announced to personally monitor anti-dengue measures.
The CM made it clear that the ‘all is good’ mantra will not work and every anti-dengue activity will be fully inspected. The activities will be monitored daily as there is no room for any negligence in this regard, the CM concluded.
