Jammu, June 17, 2019 (PPI-OT): In occupied Kashmir, a Village Defence Committee (VDC) member committed suicide after shooting dead his wife with his service rifle in Doda district. A police official said that Dheeraj Raj (45), who was a member of Village Defence Committee killed his wife, Urmila Devi (42) and also shot himself dead at Bashal Shamthi in Kastigarh tehsil of the district today. Village Defence Committee is like an SPO armed group in Jammu region sponsored by the Indian Army.
