Islamabad, February 16, 2019 (PPI-OT): The Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir People Peoples Freedom League, Muhammad Farooq Rehmani, has strongly condemned vicious and brutal actions by the extremist Hindu organization Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) and its militant gangs against the Kashmiri Muslims in Jammu and Indian cities.
Muhammad Farooq Rehmani in a statement issued in Srinagar said though peace is the only way out to settle age old dispute on the destiny of the Kashmiris, the fact remained to be acknowledged that the Kashmiris had been deprived of a peaceful and honourable life for the last several decades.
He said India during its campaign of ethnic cleansing entirely tried to hide systematic and shameful and brutal acts of gang rape of 150 innocent women of Kunanposhpora, Panzipora, abduction, rape and murder of two girls of Shopian in 2009, and of eight years old minor girl, Aasifa, of Kathua and so many other unnoticed and unregistered cases during the military and police operations and crackdowns in occupied Kashmir.
He urged Modi-led Indian government to stop a dirty and malicious campaign against the innocent Kashmiri Muslims in different parts of the country to win 2019 elections and be serious to settle the Kashmir dispute by peaceful talks with Pakistan and Kashmiris without blame game. He called upon the UN and the international community to take cognizance of the burning Kashmir situation and intervene in the interest of helpless humanity that is hanging between the devil and the deep blue sea.
