Srinagar, June 26, 2018 (PPI-OT): In occupied Kashmir, the son of martyr, Ali Muhammad Mir, has appealed to the international community to deliver justice to the family against the ruthless killing of his father by the Indian Army-backed gunman, Papa Kishtwari, 22 years ago. Ali Muhammad Mir was abducted and then killed by Ghulam Muhammad Lone alias Papa Kishtwari on June 26, 1996. The family awaits justice since then.
Zahoor Ahmed Mir, who is fighting for the justice since past 22 years, has sought the help of international community in the matter. He said that his father, Ali Muhammad Mir, a contractor by profession, was abducted from his residence at Brain Nishat in Srinagar on June 26, 1996. He said that on the same night his father was killed by Papa Kishtwari’s men and his body was thrown into river Jhelum.
