On the instructions of Mayor Karachi, Barrister Murtaza Wahab, a fumigation campaign has been launched across the city to eliminate flies, mosquitoes, and other germs to protect citizens from malaria, dengue, chikungunya, and other infectious diseases.
During the campaign, 30 vehicles from the Karachi Metropolitan Corporation (KMC) will carry out fumigation in areas across the 25 town municipal corporations, with intensive spraying in lowlying areas and around drains where mosquitoes are likely to breed. The spraying is scheduled for the evening hours.
