Karachi:Administrator Karachi, Sindh Government Spokesman and CM Advisor on Law Barrister Murtaza Wahab on Saturday said that no proposal for inclusion of MQM ministers in Sindh cabinet is under consideration nor any reshuffle is taking place in the provincial cabinet.
“What happened in Masjid-e-Nabwi is depolrable. The land Madinah was used for personal political purposes. There is a conspiracy to discredit the country,” the Administrator expressed these views at the groundbreaking ceremony for the road connecting Omar Colony Road to Korangi Creek Road and Ibrahim Village and the reconstruction of Ibrahim Haideri Football Ground and Mujahid Baloch Football Stadium.
Also present on the occasion were PD KANUPP Nazir Memon, Member Provincial Assembly Mahmood Alam Jamoat, Special Assistant to Chief Minister Sindh and PPP Malir District President Salman Abdullah Murad and others. The Administrator said that construction of Umar Colony Road and adjoining roads in Ibrahim Haideri area and construction of football ground and stadium will facilitate the people of the area.
He said that the Sindh government is working on major development projects to change the lives of the people of Karachi, regardless of their political affiliations. Wahab said that it is the vision of PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari that PPP is at the forefront of service. The priority of Sindh government is to build roads, streets, parks in every area of??Karachi.
He said that a jogging track and additional family park are being constructed at the 2.6-acre Hyderi football ground, in addition to the existing stadium and entrances are being improved. Bike parking space and a community hall are also being constructed. The Administrator said that the stadium has a seating capacity of 900 spectators and the additional pavilion can accommodate more than 300 spectators, all of which will be completed by the end of this year.
He said that launching such big projects in Ibrahim Haideri is a proof that no one thinks for the poor except the PPP.
“The local leadership had demanded from the Sindh Chief Minister that there was no place for children and youth to play in the area so this facility should be provided.,” he said and added that the provincial government had taken immediate action against the construction of the ground so that the children can play in the field instead of on the roads.
He said that 3 kilometers of main road and 7 kilometers of inner streets would be constructed in the area. Wahab said that the coastline had always been overlooked but we will develop this area “Whether it is Maripur road in Kemari district, road from Machhli Chowk to KANUPP, or site roads we are constructing them.
People have come in the past with promises and gone,” he said. Speaking on transport issues, the Administrator said that procurement of buses for Orange Line is also underway, adding that feasibility of Blue Line is being worked on and construction work will start soon.
He said that PPP’s vision is to develop all areas of Karachi equally, working in every part of the city without any discrimination. “Karachi’s long-dilapidated roads are being rebuilt to provide citizens with amenities in their daily lives.
