Lahore, April 18, 2019 (PPI-OT): With a tally of 110 points, WAPDA won the National Women’s Powerlifting Championship concluded on April 17, 2019. The WAPDA girls grabbed six gold medals and two silver medals from a total of eight weight categories. Railways finished runners-up with 82 points after claiming two gold, four silver and two bronze medals. WAPDA’s Rabia Razzaq was declared as the strongest woman of the event. Around 100 power lifters of 11 teams from all over the country competed in the Championship.
