Islamabad, June 26, 2021 (PPI-OT):Synoptic Situation
A shallow westerly wave is affecting upper parts of the country. Moist currents from Arabian Sea are also penetrating in central and upper parts of the Country.
Rain-wind-thunderstorm is expected at scattered places in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, upper/central Punjab, Gilgit Baltistan and Kashmir. However, hot weather is likely to prevail in other parts of the country, while very hot in plain areas.
Hot and dry weather is expected in most parts of the country, while very hot in plain areas. However, rain-wind-thunderstorm is expected at isolated places in upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Gilgit Baltistan.

Rain-wind-thunderstorm occurred at isolated places in upper/central Punjab, Islamabad, upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit Baltistan and Kashmir. Hot and dry weather prevailed elsewhere in the country, while very hot in plain areas.
