PADIDAN:A woman was burned to death when a house caught fire in Reeti Mohalla of Bhirya Road town near Moro in the wee hours of Tuesday.
According to rescue sources, the woman, Bula Malik, put on the gas stove at her room to beat the cold when the fire erupted and caught whole the room. As a result, she suffered severe burn injuries and died on the spot. Her 70 percent body was burnt. The valuables kept in the room were also reduced to ashes.
The body was shifted to a local hospital for medico-legal formalities and later handed over to the heiers. A mourning atmosphere prevailed at the deceased’s Mohalla. The police have started a probe into the incident. No case could be filed till filing this report.
