Quetta:Balochistan Labour Federation rallied and staged a protest demonstration on Monday against the budget of the current fiscal year.
A protest rally under the aegis of Balochistan Labour Federation was taken out from the premises of Quetta Metropolitan Corporation which marched on different roads and reached outside Quetta Press Club where a protest demonstration was held.
Chanting slogans against the government, protesters demanded to fix all the adhoc relief allowances in basic pay of the employees and announce 20% increase in the salaries of employees”.
Addressing protesters, Khan Zaman Khan, president, Balochistan Labour Federation and others said, “The present anti-employees budget has been presented at the behest of International Monetary Fund”, adding that government employees had categorically rejected the budget of the present fiscal year. They said their protest movement would continue until salaries of the employees were increased.
