Yasin Malik again sent to judicial custody for one month

New Delhi, July 08, 2019 (PPI-OT): A court of the infamous Indian National Investigation Agency (NIA) in New Delhi once again sent illegally detained Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF), Muhammad Yasin Malik, to judicial custody for another month, today. Yasin Malik will be again presented before the said court on August 7, 2019. The ailing JKLF chairman was shifted back to Tihar Jail after court hearing.

Meanwhile, the JKLF Acting Chairman, Abdul Hamid Butt in a statement issued in Srinagar paid rich tributes to Burhan Wani on his martyrdom anniversary. He said that martyr Burhan Wani and others were victims of Indian undemocratic hegemony. He said on July 8, 2016, Indian forces martyred Burhan Wani in custody and immediately after his martyrdom almost the whole leadership including JKLF Chairman Muhammad Yasin Malik was arrested or house arrested by Indian police.

The JKLF Acting Chairman said today people of Kashmir are facing the worst kind of state terrorism. He said there is no political space available and political activists and leaders like Noor Muhammad Kalwal, Zahoor Ahmad Butt, Sheikh Nazir Ahmad, Bashir Ahmad Kashmiri, Mushtaq Ahmad Wani and thousands like them are being sent to jails under black laws.
