Youngster gunned down near Shikarpur

SHIKARPUR: A youngster was shot dead by his enemy group men near Chak within the jurisdiction of Chak police station on Friday.

According to a report, an armed clash took place between two rival groups of Malik community that claimed life of youngster Nazir Ahmed Malik, aged 26. The area police shifted the deceased to a local hospital for medico-legal formalities.

The cause behind the incident was stated to be an ongoing dispute between the rival groups of Malik community in which some weeks ago a person was shot dead and the affected family took their revenge today by gunning the youth. No FIR was registered till late evening of Friday.
