Youth are our asset: Zubair

Governor Sindh Muhammad Zubair has said that universities will have to shape their curriculum harmonious with present day, and in accordance with national and educational needs.

Talking to Vice Chancellor of Shaheed Benazir Bhutto University, Shaheed Benazirabad Arshad Saleem who called on him in Karachi on Friday, Muhammad Zubair said that research is imperative for development in this age of science and technology.

He said students should utilize their skills in the subjects of modernization, in view of changes taking place in the world today and for the development and prosperity of the country.

Talking to a fifteen-member delegation of Karachi Youth Federation, Sindh Governor youth that is 60 percent of our total population are our asset and guarantee for bright future.

He said Pakistani youth are highly educated, experienced and hard working. He was of the view that we also need to focus on research along with higher education to enable our youth to work with their full potential.

The governor said that government is taking several steps to provide better educational and research facilities to our youth and Prime Minister’s laptop scheme is serving this purpose to a great extent under which able and deserving students are being given laptops.
