Srinagar, June 23, 2019 (PPI-OT): In occupied Kashmir, a 21-year-old youth died after a boat capsized in Jhelum River in Banyari village in Hajin area of Bandipora district, today. Reports said that a youth identified as Lateef Ahmad Dar, son of Reyaz Ahmad Dar of Banyari Hajin, drowned after a boat capsized in the Jhelum River.
An official said that the incident occurred when the youth was crossing the river from Banyari towards Ajas in a boat along with his bike. He said that the body of the deceased has been handed over to the family for last rites.
