Islamabad:Former President Asif Ali Zardari Thursday on Friday announced his daughter Aseefa Bhutto’s entry into parliamentary politics. He announced this while talking to media in the Parliament House in Islamabad. Zardari said that he will bring Aseefa into parliamentary politics in the upcoming elections.
It may be noted that Aseefa Bhutto had been along with Bilawal Bhutto Zardari throughout the Pakistan Peoples Party’s (PPP) Awami march that started on Feb 27. She was injured when a drone camera hit her at the party’s anti-government march in Punjab’s Khanewal.
Recently, Aseefa also marked political debut at opposition’s Multan rally as she represented her brother Bilawal Bhutto Zardari could not attend it after testing positive for the coronavirus. Speaking on this occasion, Aseefa had stated that the countdown for PM Imran Khan’s ouster had started.
