KARACHI: Former President of Pakistan and President Pakistan People’s Party Parliamentarians, Asif Ali Zardari while congratulating Sindh on celebrating Culture Day falling on 4 December said that conscious and civilized nations never forget their culture, civilization and language.
The founder of Pakistan People’s Party, Quaid Awam Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto, established the Ministry of Culture to highlight the cultures of Pakistan, according to a statement on Saturday. Zardari said that Sindh had always kept its history and culture revered. He said that people of Sindh has never forgotten their heroes who sacrificed their lives while protecting their culture and motherland.
Zardari said that Sindh is a land of peace, love, respect and brotherhood as it has a great culture. He said Sindh is the land of Sufi elders, learned friends and brave people. He said that the people of Sindh should keep their culture alive and should not give place to any kind of extremism on their land.
