In Okara, an important meeting of the Dispute Resolution Committee was held on Wednesday to advance the public relief strategies initiated by the Chief Minister of Punjab. In this meeting, Deputy Commissioner Ahmed Usman Javed and DPO Muhammad Rashid Hidayat addressed the stakeholders under the Property Rights Protection Act.
Additional Deputy Commissioner Revenue Muhammad Shajeen Vathro, Assistant Commissioners, and SDPOs of all three tehsils also actively participated in these proceedings. The committee settled 22 property dispute cases and issued instructions for the immediate resolution of complaints based on revenue documents. Assistant Commissioners and SDPOs were tasked with providing reports based on facts and transparency.
Deputy Commissioner Javed highlighted the importance of protecting property rights, stating that ensuring citizens receive their due rights is a fundamental responsibility. He assured a thorough investigation, considering all relevant details, to provide immediate justice to the affected individuals. He stressed the importance of fulfilling the requirements of justice and emphasized the need to effectively resolve property disputes.
DPO Hidayat assured that the police department will cooperate closely with the district administration to resolve mutual disputes, highlighting the importance of strict adherence to the legal framework, particularly through the Property Rights Protection Act.
