Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif leveled a serious accusation against New Delhi on Tuesday, asserting that recent deadly terrorist attacks in Islamabad and Wana were orchestrated by ‘India-backed’ groups operating from Afghanistan.

Terming the assaults on innocent Pakistani citizens ‘highly condemnable,’ the Prime Minister described the use of Indian-sponsored proxies as a matter of grave concern. He has ordered a thorough investigation into the incidents, vowing that those responsible for the violence would be brought to justice.

Expressing profound sorrow, the Prime Minister extended his heartfelt condolences to the families of the martyrs. He also prayed for the swift recovery of those wounded and directed authorities to provide them with the best possible medical care.

The premier singled out the attack on children in Wana, stating, ‘No amount of condemnation is enough for these heinous attacks launched from Afghan territory with Indian backing.’

He reaffirmed the government’s unwavering commitment to its counter-terrorism efforts, declaring the fight will continue ‘until the last terrorist linked with Fitna al-Hindustan and Fitna al-Khawarij is eliminated.’

PM Shehbaz issued a direct call for India to cease its ‘malicious actions’ of using proxies to destabilise the region. He also urged the international community to condemn what he referred to as New Delhi’s ‘nefarious designs.’

‘Both attacks are clear examples of India’s worst forms of state terrorism in the region,’ the Prime Minister concluded, emphasizing that the incidents exposed India’s ‘heinous face of state-sponsored terrorism’ and would not deter Pakistan’s resolve to eradicate the threat.
