18-year-old Waheed, sitting on a loader rickshaw near Subedar Jamali village in Manhro Chowdagi, died on the spot after his shawl got entangled in the rickshaw’s shaft and he fell.

The deceased was identified as 18-year-old Waheed Ali, son of Muhammad Nawaz Lashari, a resident of Imdad Lashari village.

Officials said the fatal incident occurred near Subedar Khan Jamali village. The youth was allegedly on his way home at the time of the incident.

According to the police report, the shawl worn by Waheed Ali got entangled in the shaft of the moving vehicle, causing him to fall from the rickshaw. The resulting injuries proved to be immediately fatal, and he died on the spot.

After completing the necessary legal procedures, the body was handed over to the heirs. According to reports, a wave of deep sorrow swept over the area when the body was brought to his home.
