QUETTA: Mir Abdul Quddus Bizenjo, Chief Minister Balochistan, while expressing indignation over the slow pace of development work on the development projects being executed under Chief Minister Quetta Development Package, on Tuesday directed Abdul Aziz Uqaili, Chief Secretary Balochistan to personally review the progress of all development schemes and submit report thereof.

According to a statement issued by the Chief Minister’s Secretariat, Directing Project Director, Chief Minister Quetta Development Package for completion of all development projects under Chief Minister Quetta Development Package, particularly widening of Sariab Road and Subzal Road projects, on war footing basis, he said that main purpose of development scheme was to provide relief to the people rather than engulfing them in pains and sufferings. Setting May 31, 2022 as dead line for completing the widening of Anscomb Road project, he said that Anscomb Road project had been designed to address traffic related problems.

Bizenjo said that unnecessary delay in completion of development schemes caused wastage of resources besides increasing the cost of expenditures. He directed Project Director, Chief Minister Quetta Development Package to remove technical flaws of all development schemes and submit progress review report of the development schemes being executed under Chief Minister Quetta Development Package on daily basis.
