Lahore:Jamait Ulema e Islam -Fazal (JUI-F) amir Maulana Fazal-ur-Rehman has said that the Azadi march would send the sitting rulers home using legal ways and means.
Addressing a mammoth crowd of Azadi March in Lahore before leaving for Gujranwala, Maulana Fazal-ur-Rehman said today people belonging to all walks of life are disappointed and fed up with the sitting government. He said Azadi March participants despite being in very large number have shown exemplary discipline at every stage of their march.
He said during last nine months they have staged 15 million marches and they were warmly welcomed showing that whole Pakistan support them. He said our basic demand is that as the last general elections were manipulated, we do not accept their results. He said that from day one we were of the onion that vote should be respected. He said today traders are on strike. He said this government during its one year have proved inept and incapable.
Later, the Azadi march left Lahore for their next destination Gujranwala.
