Rangers vow foolproof security for PSL matches

KARACHI:Sindh Rangers in a high-level meeting at its headquarters here Wednesday vowed to make foolproof security arrangements for the Pakistan Super League (PSL) season. Four cricket matches are to be held at the National Stadium Karachi from 7th March 2019.

The meeting, which was chaired by Director General Rangers Maj Gen Mohammad Saeed, reviewed security arrangements for the PSL cricket matches.

It was decided that Sindh police and Rangers personnel would be deployed at the venue of the match to ensure security with joint cooperation.

In the meeting over all law and order situation and security arrangements especially for the PSL cricket matches in the megacity were reviewed in detail.

The meeting was attended by Commissioner Karachi, Additional IG Karachi, Additional IG CTD, and officials of Sindh police, Rangers, and other security agencies.
