Karachi:Al-Fatima School cruised into the semifinals of 9th PVCA/EBM Inter School Cricket Tournament 2018 after beating New Standard Secondary School by nine wickets here at Naya Nazimabad Cricket Ground.
New Standard Secondary School batted first in the match and put on board a paltry total of 123-10 runs in 39.2 overs. Haider Zaman top scored for the side scoring 44 runs. Ahad Ali, Asad Shehzad, Shair Bahadur and Adeel Ahmed picked two wickets each.
In response, Al-Fatima School reached the victory total in only 15.2 overs for the loss of only one wicket. Abdullah Zarin batted brilliantly scoring 71 runs.
Kamran Public and Ibrahim Ali Bahi have earlier already qualified for the semifinals.
