Karachi: Nowshera Zalmi Greens won the Zalmi Azadi Cup 2018 title beating Khyber Zalmi Greens by seven wickets in Peshawar.
Interim Chief Minister, Dost Mohammad Khan along with Chairman Peshawar Zalmi, Javed Afridi distributed the awards amongst the winners.
Khyber Zalmi Greens batted first and put on board 151 runs before losing all of their wickets. Rehan Afridi top scored with 40 runs for the side. Umar Alam took three wickets.
In reply, Nowshera Zalmi Greens chased the target for the loss of three wickets. Raza Gillani scored 40 runs for the winning side. For Khyber Zalmi Greens, Sameen Gul took two wickets.
