T20 cricket match played on Pakistan Day

LARKANA:A T20 Cricket match was organized on Youm-e-Pakistan by Larkana police at Police Training School ground here on Saturday which was participated by few national cricketers.

Due to delay, the match was confined to 15 overs to each team. Green Stars team was led by Abdul Razak and Blue Stars team was led by legend Younis Khan. Toss was won by Razak and he elected to field. Blue Stars made 132 runs out of 15 overs for the loss of two wickets. Green Stars made 122 runs on loss of seven wickets hence Blue Stars team headed by Younis Khan won the match with margin of 10 runs. AIG Sukkur Dr. Jamil Ahmed Siddiqui was the chief guest and was participated by DIGP Larkana Irfan Baloch and SSP Masood Bangash and other officials. Large number of people including women and children came to witness the national cricket heroes.

The local players were also included by both sides who also played very well. Strict security arrangements were made on the occasion as all spectators were physically searched and then they were allowed. Younis Khan said that he has witnessed tremendous love for cricket among the people of Larkana and he will try to come here annually along with Abdul Razak and play cricket. Razak said he enjoyed the game while playing in Larkana. He said more cricketers will come next year so that cricket fans could enjoy the game. AIGP Dr. Jamil said that he is thankful to Younis Khan, Abdul Razak, Imran Nazir, Irfan and others who came here and played cricket.
