LARKANA:A high level meeting of Larkana Divisional and District Administration officers was held at Circuit House Larkan under the chairmanship of PPP Provincial Chief Nisar Ahmed Khuhro to prepare a plan for commemorating the 40th death anniversary commemoration of former Prime Minister and Pakistan Peoples Party founder leader Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto on April 4, 2019.
The meeting issued instructions to the officers to make foolproof security and traffic arrangements on the occasion along with installation of walkthrough gates and CCTV cameras. He also instructed Division Commissioner and Deputy Commissioner (DC) Salim Raza Khuhro and Mohammad Nauman Siddique to ensure cleanliness, lightening and erection of sign boards throughout the district so that incoming activists may not face any difficulty.
DC briefed the meeting that Public Health Engineering Department would ensure availability of cold safe drinking water, whereas Chandka Medical College Hospital, District Health Officer, PPHI and IHS will ensure availability of healthcare facilities, doctors, medicines and medical camps. He further said that SSGC authorities had also been directed not to carry out illegal gas load shedding.
Sepco will provide standby generator. Buildings Department has been directed to establish washrooms with availability of water. Khuhro said more people were expected this year than previous year: therefore, proper arrangements be made so that participants do not feel any difficulty. MPA Hizbullah Bughio, SSP Masood Bangash, Mayor Aslam Shaikh, District Council Chairman Khan Muhammad Sangroo and others also participated in the meeting.
