QUETTA: More than 2000kg ration was airlifted to the flood affected families of Sibbi and Kachhi districts of Balochistan province on Saturday.

In compliance with the directives of Chief Minister Balochistan, Mir Abdul Quddus Bizenjo, relief operation via helicopter began to dispatch edible goods to the flood affected areas of the province. More than 2000 kilogram ration was airlifted to the flood affected families of Sibbi and Kachhi districts.

Meanwhile, Chief Minister Balochistan, Mir Abdul Quddus Bizenjo, while taking notice of the surge in the prices of LPG, has directed Deputy Commissioner, Quetta to take action against those defying the fixed rates prescribed for selling Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG), according to a statement issued by the Chief Minister’s Secretariat here on Saturday.

Directing Deputy Commissioner, Quetta to ensure the availability of LPG and its selling on prescribed rates, he said that citizens were confronting hardships owing to non-availability of natural gas. Bizenjo said, “The wrongdoers deserves to be punished strictly”.
