In Chak Amin Kot this morning, a dangerous dog attack injured three individuals, including a nine-year-old visually impaired girl, spreading intense fear and panic among residents. The victims have been transferred to THQ Hospital Haveli Lakha for immediate medical assistance.
The incident occurred in Chak Amin Kot village near Haveli Lakha, where a stray rabid dog violently attacked four-year-old Usman, nine-year-old Zahra, who is blind, and forty-year-old Tufail. All were severely injured in the attack.
In addition to human casualties, the aggressive animal reportedly harmed several farm animals as well. The series of incidents has created an environment of intense fear in the local area.
Local residents have urged government bodies to intervene immediately and implement effective strategies to eliminate the threat posed by stray dogs.
Residents emphasized that a seven-year-old girl previously died from a stray dog bite, yet no permanent safety measures have been adopted. This ongoing inaction continues to heighten the atmosphere of fear within the community.
