QUETTA:Hamdard-e-Mazooran Balochistan demanded of the authorities to implement five percent quota reserved for appointment of persons-with-disabilities in government departments.
These and similar other demands were made in a protest demonstration held under the auspices of Hamdard-e-Mazooran Balochistan outside Quetta Press Club here on Saturday.
Addressing the protest demonstration, speakers demanded of the authorities to implement five percent quota reserved for appointment of persons-with-disabilities in government departments, grant pecuniary assistance to the tune of Rs10000 to the disabled persons from Bait-ul-Mal, provide free of cost medicines and healthcare facilities to the disabled persons at Sandeman Provincial Hospital, Quetta and Bolan Medical Complex Hospital, Quetta, post Dr. Javed Akhtar as Medical Superintendent, Sandeman Provincial Hospital, Quetta and fix monthly stipend for persons-with-disabilities. Protest demonstration was addressed by Atta Muhammad Mulakhail, President, Hamdard-e-Mazooran Balochistan and Syed Manzoor Ahmed Shah Jilani, General Secretary.
