LARKANA: The back-tech machine given to Chandka Medical College Hospital (CMCH) by WHO was inaugurated by Deputy Commissioner Rabia Syal here on Wednesday.
CMCH Medical Superintendent Dr Gulzar Tunio, Director of Health Services, Dr. Rustam Bhutto, WHO Larkana Division Head Shahid Khokhar, Dr. Ali Sarwar Shah and others cut the ribbon to launch the machine. The Deputy Commissioner after inauguration visited different wards of the Civil Hospital and took details about the medical facilities and cleanliness provided to the patients. He instructed the doctors and staff to provide better medical facilities to the patients and take special care of cleanliness.
In this regard, Dr. Gulzar Tunio, CMCH MS said that patients suffering from typhoid and other ailments would benefit from this machine because the machine has been installed for the first time in Larkana after Karachi. He said previously poverty stricken patients were getting the tests conducted from Aga Khan Hospital, but now the test will be done free of charge through the back-tech machine provided by WHO in Larkana.
Students who apply to the Textile Institute of Pakistan, clear their exams, and demonstrate promise but are not able to continue due to financial restraints are provided scholarships to pursue a career through both professional and industrial-related knowledge, which help them land successful jobs after they have graduated from the institution.
