LAHORE:In a surprising move, former Pakistani cricket captain and ex-Chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), Rameez Raja, has been omitted from the Asia Cup's commentary panel.
The Asia Cup, scheduled to commence in Multan on August 30, boasts an impressive lineup of commentators, with several Indian cricketing legends joining the panel for the event hosted by Pakistan, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Saturday.
Key Indian commentators like Ravi Shastri, Gautam Gambhir, Harbhajan Singh, and Irfan Pathan, among others, will lend their voices to the matches. Meanwhile, Pakistani legends Wasim Akram, Waqar Younis, Aamir Sohail, and Bazid Khan are also set to be part of the commentary team.
