CM Shah launches door-to-door polio eradication campaign in Sukkur

Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah inaugurated a comprehensive door-to-door polio eradication campaign, personally visiting homes in New Sukkur Union Council to engage with residents and urge them to vaccinate their children against the polio disease.

Addressing parents directly, CM Shah stressed the critical need for vaccination, stating, ‘Polio drops are essential to protect your children from lifelong disabilities and secure a healthy future.’

He further emphasized his commitment by saying, ‘I have come to your doors today to address any concerns and strongly urge you to vaccinate your children.’

In a show of leadership, the chief minister took an active role in the campaign, administering polio drops to children himself. He praised the dedication of the field teams involved, declaring, ‘We are a great nation, and we stand united in our pledge to eradicate polio, working hand-in-hand with the global community.’

Accompanying the CM were Speaker Awais Qadir Shah, provincial ministers Syed Nasir Shah, Mukesh Chawla, and MPA Farukh Shah. Their presence underscored the collective commitment of the provincial leadership to eliminate polio and safeguard the health of every child in Sindh.

This campaign is part of Sindh’s continued efforts to ensure a polio-free future, reinforcing the government’s pledge to protect the most vulnerable from the devastating effects of the disease.
